Because of living an inadequate lifestyle, he unintentional invites the darkness into his life. God allows Robert to how strong the darkness can be. He will meet a guy named Neil, who is perceived as a Warlock from the future. Neil seduces Robert with mystical quartz crystals that have great power. Having access to the quartz crystals opens many doors of the unknown, and unexplainable interactions of the spirit realm. Which leads to mysticism and practicing witchcraft.
