The First and Best Book on Fly Fishing for Carp

This is one of the best and most enjoyable fishing books I have read. It is a fun, very well written book. It is one of those rare fishing pieces that reads like a novel yet is highly instructional. The topic-fly fishing for large, selective carp-has recently become a big thing in fly fishing circles. Von Schrader's book was written a few years ago, well before the current vogue. However, amoung us long rodders who have learned to esteem the carp as a fly fishing quarry, this book is a Bible. Also recommended: Fly Fishing for Carp
