Wow Carla is one character I completely adored. I was rooting for her from the beginning. There was just something about her I loved. She was a woman who was running from her past and closing herself off to love. She'd never let a man near her until Detective Matthews breezed into her life.
Ms. Gschwandtner did an awesome job of propelling me into Carla's world. The characters seem to come alive on the page.
