Carl Rogers Is Missing

Soon after Sally began looking into the story, strange things began to happen. Someone started following her, and someone broke into her apartment. Sally and Joe couldn't prove any foul dealings yet, but there was obviously some connection.

Rookie hero Buddy Riggs, aka Copycat, is assigned to check on Carl Rogers, a source for Sally's investigation into a new tax law. Upon arriving at Carl's home, Buddy is thrown into a fight and discovers that Carl Rogers is missing.

Buddy reports the incident to the International League of Super-Transbeings. Sportsgirl, a transbeing with powers linked to sports, is given the case.
