Caring for the Caregiver

Most of the time, the family is the only support for the dependent patient's recovery, which has an impact on the caregiver. Taking on the care of a dependent patient is a commitment that can become painful; whatever the illness, it is always considered a crisis situation, generating stress that has an effect on the caregiver. This work was carried out as part of the specialization in Rehabilitation Nursing. Special thanks to the caregivers, families and patients who shared their experiences with us.
