There were 17891 bristles on the navy blue carpet not counting the area where Flick made footprints. The walls were the same colour as an ice-cream that he had eaten three weeks ago where he'd had to wait for three children in the ice-cream van queue. Three of them: twelve times less than the amount of bricks without moss on the wall at the edge of the park. What would the world look like if everybody wore bricks on their feet rather than shoes? Would they paint them? Flick would paint his blue so that they would blend in with the carpet.
