The ESF is composed of a unique mixture of past criminals, federal agents, university scientists, decorated soldiers, and governmental officials. This group possesses the power to accomplish its missions by whatever means necessary. The Strike force operates autonomously and its resources and areas of operation are limitless. However, all actions by this group or any individual within it will be disavowed by all US governmental agencies.
