He tracks down and rescues Alina from an attempt to recapture her and they work together to try to thwart an attempt by the VHF army to deal the US Government and the paranormal realm a severe blow and thus causing a shift in power, giving the control of the war effort to the cruel and evil Voltic Hybrid Federation.
