So, you've heard of me? Aiden Veylar. Yeah, that Aiden Veylar. The one with the recently acquired, and rather unflattering, 500,000 gold bounty plastered on his head by the ever-so-charming Sky Guild. Apparently, saving the day, liberating powerful artifacts, and generally exposing corrupt institutions tends to make one unpopular in certain circles. Who knew?
Now, every glory-seeking mercenary, opportunistic rogue, and probably a few under-stimulated nobles are crawling out of the void-works, thinking they're going to cash in on "Captain Chaos." Good luck to them, I say. They'll need it. Because while I might be a "traitor," a "fugitive," and a "menace to the established order" (their words, not mine, though not entirely inaccurate), I'm not exactly alone in this mess.
I've got my magnificent, patched-up airship, The Starfire, which creaks almost as much as my conscience some days. And then there's my crew-a delightful, if occasionally exasperating, collection of beautiful, dangerous women who've inexplicably decided to stick with me through thick and, well, mostly thicker. Oh, and did I mention my SSS-Rank companion, Aerith? She's a divine powerhouse who thinks planetary destruction is a perfectly acceptable form of foreplay and is currently miffed her "Captain darling" isn't worth at least a cool million.
Between dodging Guild enforcers, outsmarting Syndicate thugs, trying to figure out what to do with ancient, power-humming artifacts that whisper unsettlingly in my head, and navigating the viper's nest of Kingdom politics with a certain captivating Duchess, life's never dull. The Starfire might be running on fumes and recycled hopes, and every shadow could hide another hunter, but if these vultures think they can take me down easily, they're about to get a very loud, very explosive reminder of why playing in my league is generally bad for their health.
