Capricorn One (1977) is one of those conspiracy plots that many people want to believe, like the one that no one stepped on the moon.
Now, the movie seems a bit dated and cheap, as we are jaded by those expensive and in-depth movies (even of this type). Of course, there are no cell phones, which makes it spookier.
This movie is about a plot to save an expensive project. But who are the patsies, and what do we do with them? Do not forget to dispatch the snoopy people before they can tell what they are thinking.
Aside from the main characters in the story, there were quite a few popular actors of the time making cameos or supporting characters.
See Brenda Vaccaro again in a more realistic movie, “Zorro, The Gay Blade.”
One of my favorite movies!

This film is a great parody of the faking of the moon landing, has great dialogue and thought provoking plot. There are many well known and accomplished actors in it, Elliot Gould, James Brolin, Hal Holbrook, Brenda Vaccaro and others. The flying finale between a plane and two helicopters is edge of your seat gripping action. Highly recommended!
