These twinned works of short poetry are disgusting and uncomplicated, and should not be read aloud. The first is a weary band of survivors representing over a decade of of work largely destroyed in episodes of angry guilt. They are united structurally by a sense of maladaptive thought and arrhythmic design, and thematically by a desperate, even undignified grasping for salvation. The second is a series of couplets hinting at some of the finer points of smoking packs of cigarettes. This is the author's debut work of poetry.
