The story is inspiring and the writing style is engaging. The amount of cussing is over-the-top, but you know that's what you get with David Goggins. It was also interesting to see the author's missteps and read how he noticed and corrected them, both at a micro and macro level. Hoping he continues to learn, see, and grow. He has a lot to offer.
A book to read throughout life.

This book is a transformational, barrier breaking, weak snatching, soul speaking, type of book. It's priceless, in it's own right. The kind of book that as you read it, it reads you back. It will either eat you alive, or remind, confirm if you will, what you've known all along-- you've not been being who your spirit keeps wanting you to be. And it's time to conquer and dominate. He also explains and gives action steps, which is extremely helpful. Now ask yourself, who's going to carry the boat of your life? Who's gonna carry them logs? If not you, the answer is no one.
A book everyone can learn something from if they read it.

Not only is this a fantastic memoir, but DG lays out some methods to help you with your own mental toughness. Wether it be physical, mental, and I’d say even emotional goals, DG explains some helpful tactics to hone your discipline toward achieving your goals. I also highly recommend the audiobook. You can’t help but feel inspired.
