I bought this book for the initial belief that it would be lightly entertaining. The book opened up my eyes to more realistic situations, as it cleverly and wittingly told a story of marriages and choices in life. With a title 'can't buy me love' I was cynically bracing myself for the usual chick lit type fare but surprisingly it was better than that. It actually had relevant content that made me think about my own relationship and what I would do in the characters situations. It had characters one could actually relate to or knew of someone like them which made the book more interesting. Overall its a nice change from the all the US based chick lit novels based solely around fashion and beauty.
