Cancelled: The Ultimate October Surprise

By Michael Pinsky

It is the summer before the Presidential Election. The President is concerned his party's candidate will lose the election and with it his legacy. He concocts a plan to create a series of events that will allow him, with the support of a sycophant media, to postpone and, in time, cancel the elections.

A retired general while keeping track of events, suspects that something is afoot. He puts together a coalition of retired special forces members and governors to investigate and eventually make the effort to thwart the President's audacious plan.
