The worship of Jesus Christ is one of the key differences between biblical Christianity and most of the "Christian" cults. Christian cults view the worshipping of Jesus Christ as idolatry.
The cults are known of their misinterpretation of the Scriptures, and also adding or removing or mistranslating certain words of the Scriptures are one of the methods to support cults beliefs. Biblical terminologies are redefined in such a way they promote cults teachings and beliefs.
But does the Bible support the worshipping of Jesus Christ? Did Jesus teach his disciples to pray to him or to God? Are Jesus Christ and God one and the same thing?
The Bible holds that only God is worth to be praised, adored, glorified, prayed and worshipped. The Bible also emphasizes that God does not share his glory and praise to anyone else.

Then, those who worship and pray to Jesus Christ and those who view it as idolatry who is right? Those who pray to Jesus Christ can get their prayers answered or not? Those who deny the worship of the Son of God, Jesus Christ, do they have God's approval?
