I have a friend, who once when we were discussing this subject, blurted out, "I think God hates Satan " I very calmly replied, "Elmo, 'God is love.'" By quoting 1 John 4:16, I meant: God doesn't hate anyone, and he loves all of his creatures with unending and deeply felt passion for their well-being. Why Elmo felt God hates Satan was probably because he had not really thought it through; and also, because God has concealed his real plan for the demons and even the angels-so well-that we are not even comfortable thinking about the subject.Can Satan Be Saved explores biblically how it is possible for Satan to be Saved and what our important roll as a church is in helping to see this happen.
