It is not just about credit cards

This book is organized in a question-and-answer format. Questions range from topics such as banking, consumer plastic, debt, credit reports, identify theft, and credit scores. What is nice about this format is that readers can simply go to a particular chapter and look for questions they are interested in. It is good to read this book from cover to cover, but then it can be used later as a reference. The questions are pretty detailed and contain more than one sentence. A sample question is below: "In a recent column, you told a reader how she could pay off her home mortgage more quickly by applying an additional amount to the principal each month. Would this principle apply to a car loan or a student loan? I owe $23,000 on the car and $5,200 on a student loan. My monthly car payment is $440 at 7.9 percent and my student loan is $281 at 8.5 percent." - Mariusz Skonieczny, author of Why Are We So Clueless about the Stock Market? Learn how to invest your money, how to pick stocks, and how to make money in the stock market

Excellent-will inspire you to read more

As a huge fan of Dave Ramsey, I don't often find too many authors that I find as helpful, but Mary Hunt's "Can I pay my credit card bill with a credit card" is a close second. The book is in a question/answer format and is broken down into the following parts: BANKING CONSUMER PLASTIC DEBT (very helpful-my fave part) CREDIT REPORTS HOME AND FAMILY SITUATIONS DIFFICULT DILEMMAS EDUCATION FUTURE Like Ramsey, her financial advice is practical and straight forward

Fun and Informative

Way to go, Mary. Once again, Mary Hunt has written practical advice with wisdom and humor. Mary takes issues we deal with everyday, and gives us informative answers to these difficult questions. This is another must read from this author.

Another Hit!

I have read all of Mary's books and this is another first rate Hunt special. Mary always has insightful, relative information on our economic issues. If you want help with your credit cards, this is the book to turn to. You will be a Mary Hunt junkie when you're through!

No Embarrassment in Being Financially Savy!!

I have yet to read any book written by Mary Hunt that has not been life-changing AND profitable. So it is no surprise that her newest book is also FILLED with valuable information that will help keep me financially solvent. These days it is impossible to know too much about credit cards and the destruction they can potentially bring into a person's life: "Can I Pay......" is a MUST READ for anyone who carries a card! But don't think it paints only a dark picture. Quite the contrary. With her normal dose of practical advice balanced with plenty of humor, Mary provides hope for the future.
