Camping Survival: From a kid's Point of View

By C.C. M.

This book started with laughs around our own family camping trips.
Like many families, we discovered that camping looks very different depending on who is telling the story. Parents talk about fresh air, relaxing weekends, and making memories. Kids notice the long car rides, wet towels, smoky campfires, missing snacks, younger siblings causing problems, and adults pretending setup is fun.
That is how Camping Survival: From a Kid's Point of View was born.
Written with humor and heart, this book shares the funny truth about family camping through the eyes of a kid who has lived through the chaos personally. Inside these pages, readers will find jokes, relatable moments, and the kind of memories many families know well.
Inside this book you will discover:
- How to survive packing day panic
- The truth about long car rides
- Why younger siblings are a camping challenge
- How to look helpful while doing very little
- Camp cooking disasters and marshmallow politics
- Rainy day boredom and campground drama
- How family disasters become family stories
- Why every trip is worth surviving
Many of the moments in this book were inspired by real family adventures, funny mishaps, and memories from our own trips that we are happy to share with yours.
Perfect for kids ages 8-12, parents, grandparents, camping families, and anyone who knows vacations are rarely perfect but often unforgettable.
If your family enjoys laughter, adventure, and making memories the messy way, this book is for you.
