In this story, Muscles the Bear, Chopper the Beaver, Rusty Raccoon, and Hog the Hedgehog set out on Rat Gap Trail and discover that hiking is about much more than reaching the end of a trail. Along the way, they learn how to work together, solve problems, stay calm when things get a little scary, and help one another when challenges appear.

One of my favorite things about camping and exploring nature is that every trail teaches us something new. Sometimes we learn how to read a map. Sometimes we learn how to be brave. And sometimes we learn how important it is to be a good friend.

As you read this series, I hope you'll discover that kindness, teamwork, and respect for nature can help you through almost any adventure.
