When Haus Kolzer, a sergeant with the German Army, was arrested and tortured by the Gestapo, his commanding officer came to his rescue.

His commanding officer had bigger plans for him - to escape to England and find a way to be selected for training at Camp X in Canada, where he meets other men and women were being trained to be spies. His training also gave him access to Allied codes and other spies being trained along with him - both useful for his commanding officer in Berlin.

Back in Germany, he finds himself working as a double agent - for his commanding officer and the Allies while being relentlessly hounded by the Gestapo. In the process, he finds his allegiance gradually changing.
