KINDA OF A GOOD STORY!

A very enjoyable read - Cade Kills Thunder apparently was a hunky cowboy that Callie Walker wants on the cover of her next book. Needless to say he is not thrilled with the idea. Jacob Red Crow informs Cade that this red-head is the woman for him. Even though she would dilute his Indian blood in their children. Cade's appearance at the writer's convention with Callie becomes a bit hilarious. Her women friends want to put the make on Cade. Callie finds herself falling under the spell of Jacob and is very much concerned with his health. Cade is concerned that the life in Montana will never suit a city-girl. He is a long haul truck driver but loves his ranch in Montana. Very definitely a good read for such a short story

He was gorgeous and he knew it...

Callie's Cowboy Madeline Baker Callie Walker thought she must have been hallucinating. Men like this only existed in the books that she wrote. Yet, he was standing right up there at the register. He turned as if he felt her eyes on him. She realized she had been caught staring. Before, she could turn away to hide he winked at her and sauntered out of the café. Callie decided to get back on the road and find her way to the town she was going to research for her next book. She didn't realize she was so tired and that she made some wrong turns. Next thing she knew she was being dragged from her wrecked car from her dream man or was he a dream. His name is Cade Kills Thunder. He has just met the woman who can make him wish he was into marrying and staying home. However, he knew woman craved him. He had one in each town he drove his big rig. This was just one more woman he could woo and leave. Or could he. Maybe she might just turn the tables on him and give him a taste of her own medicine. The characters are well developed by this author. Even in such a short book this author makes her characters likeable and believable. She makes the romance that happened in such a short time believable. It was hilarious at times. However, it was still romantic without being overbearing.
