Shares the perspective of a Christian battered woman.

The writer shares her experience of being a battered woman and seeking to end her abuse, protect her children, keep her faith, and hold her husband accountable for his actions. I was impressed with her courage and his honesty (her husband shares his story too). Clergy or those involved in church ministry may find this book helpful in understanding what victims in their congregations may be dealing with at home, and how their responses may either encourage her or make her struggle for safety and a healthy marriage harder.
