Called to a Sun-Scorched Land: Missions to Mozambique

by Mary-Pat Ross

At sixty years old, Mary-Pat left behind everything familiar to follow a calling she had carried in her heart for decades-to serve children in Africa.

Her journey to Mozambique was one of faith, resilience, and unexpected challenges. From navigating life in a remote community to braving the chaotic streets on a motorbike, each day tested her courage and deepened her trust in God. Yet, in the midst of struggle, she found joy - through the children she taught, the friendships she built, and the unwavering support of those who believed in her mission.

This inspiring Christian memoir is a powerful testament to faith in action. With honesty and warmth, Mary-Pat shares how God shaped her life in ways she never expected, proving that no dream is too distant, no obstacle too great, and no life too broken to be made whole.

Perfect for readers who enjoy missionary stories, faith-based memoirs, and books about personal transformation, Called to a Sun-Scorched Land is a reminder that it's never too late to step into your calling.
