Something strange is happening on Caliban Island. People disappear here.

Veteran-agent Willie Deane flies down, undercover, to see why the island suddenly blacked out, cutting all communication with the outside world.

What he finds is like nothing he's ever faced.

It's not just the man-eating Bengal tiger. Or the psychopathic mercenaries. Or the killer robots. Or the mystery woman, clearly dangerous, who manages the island's research facility.

It's the mastermind behind it all-an intelligence beyond imagining, but with no heart. It has plans for us all. Its immediate plan, though, is for Agent Willie Deane to be dead.

Willie Deane is merely human. He's experienced, highly trained. He has a heart. But, in this battle, his only weapons are his wits.
