California begins to secede following a heated election of a racist, sexist, xenophobic, homophobic president. Tara Murdock, a young Democratic journalist from Arizona, and Nate Spencer, an anonymous anti-immigrant blogger in California, are each faced with the challenges of a lifetime. Tara advocates for Calexit, but she soon finds herself in a situation of life, death, and kidnaping.
