This work would be great for charter schools, Classical Academies and home schools. We have some helpful preliminaries as well as an introduction to various problem solving strategies - George Polya would be proud. Bartlett's fine textbook covers multivariable differentiation, integration by parts and has a whole chapter on "Thinking About Infinity." Teachers who emphasize verbal response and math writing in their course will enjoy this text. Bartlett also touches on ethics and art.
The accompanying Solution Guide is quite helpful with full explanations, not just the answers and has over 150 pages. The typeface is very readable and not too small. There is plenty of blank space as well as blank pages for students to work out the questions.
As a former Assistant Math Professor at Howard College (11 years) and past public school teacher, I highly recommend this work. Writing a book on Calculus is an admirable task (search "Calc is EZ" on your fave video platform to see mine) and I congratulate Bartlett for this well organized textbook.
