Caculus I Hardcover

I would buy from Zachary Pellen again. He was very quick to email me, and send the book quickly and very gracious. The calculus book was in excellent condition like said. Great way to purchase used books for college.

Good Condition

The item came in good time and condition. The book has easy to follow examples to follow when doing homework. The only problem I have is that you can't get a hold of the solutions manual and this book isn't on cramster. So there is no way to know if you did the odd problems correct.

Good Textbook

I used this book for a calculus course (I only used the multivariable sections). It is an excellent book with very clear explanations. The problems and exercises and very helpful. This book made calculus intuitive and easy to learn.

Solid College Calculus Text

This is definitely a very thorough calculus text for any college or AP level calculus 1/2/3 course. I myself am a biomedical engineering undergrad student and had Calculus BC AP credit entering college, but I still needed this textbook because it includes multivariable calculus as well. It was my text for multivariable calc. I still used this book to review all of calculus 1/2 when I needed to go back. I would say that it was definitely a great refresher for calc 1 and 2, and it undoubtedly helped me in calc 3 with the actual multivariable work. All of the concepts and proofs are clearly presented.

Excellent text on calculus

This textbook is excellent for learning calculus. The theorems are very well-explained and the graphs are nicely illustrated. This textbook also offers a great number of exercise problems in each section that will give one very good mechanical practice. This textbook covers calculus in single-variable and multivariable. It has chapters on differential calculus, integral calculus, infinite sequences and series; and multivariable calculus (partial derivatives, gradient vectors, lagrange multipliers, multiple integrals, etc). The book is also very colorful in its examples and explanations. I would compare this textbook to James Stewart's Calculus book. I have both. I would highly recommend this text to anyone who wants to learn or brush up on calculus.
