Everything is explained wonderfully...

Wonderful book! I believe I could take this class as a self-pace class rather than having an actual teacher...the examples and break downs are so easy and understandable! One slight problem, a few answer in the back of the book are incorrect. We have check with the Math Department at the university I attend and they agree that the answers are incorrect. Thus far only a handful have been that way (10 max).

GET A LITTLE RUSTY ON CALCULATIONS, OR JUST WANT TO REFRESH YOUR BRAIN. THIS IS A GOOD BOOK TO BRUSH UP ON ALL CALCULATIONS.

Great Tool!

I am starting a nursing program in September of this year and have to take a test on the second day of school (need to get 100%). I am unable to take the course that was offered over this summer, therefore have to rely on my own abilities with this book. This book has been a godsend!! Math is definitely my weakness so I was worried as to how I'd do. I am doing really well!! Each chapter has a pretest, review, worksheets, and posttest. Very self-explanatory and to the point....Can't say enough....Thanks to this book, I am confident that I will be ready for the test!

Lots of Examples

This book gives a good breakdown of the metric system and the math needed for calculations of drug dosages. There are examples and questions of every kind. In the back of the book, the answers are given in a detailed step-by-step manner, allowing you to check your work and figure out your mistakes. Good book for learning dosages.
