Chance C. Bouchard (Chancey to his friends) was a rookie cop in New Orleans during hurricane Katrina. He left due to some bad blood between him and some of his fellow officers. Adrift for a time, he follows the advice of a departing girlfriend and becomes a private investigator. He's opened an office in Baton Rouge.
