Carefully exploring key passages from Genesis, this work proposes a bold theory about the enigmatic fate of Cain after murdering his brother Abel: his expulsion from Earth turned him into the father of a race of "earthly extraterrestrials" or strangers to their own planet. After being cursed by God to wander errant and banished from the earth's surface, Cain took refuge in the unknown "Land of Nod", mysteriously located east of Eden. There he forged an advanced civilization, perhaps with access to the tree of knowledge, which would explain the superior technology of his descendants. The author argues that the "Cainites" formed a race of earthly strangers, with an intrinsically evil nature. By analyzing details of the story about Cain, parallels are drawn with hypothetical extraterrestrials: their strange appearance, different diet, possible immortality and the enigmatic "mark" that God imposed on him. Thus, Cain would have been transformed into the first biblical "alien".
