Cafe Caulewaul is a comedic play set in an unassuming cafe. What seems like a relatively normal cafe turns out to be the hub for several eccentrics to gather. The cafe itself is run by a recently retired musician, Carl Caulewaul, who quit his career to pursue his true dream: managing a dainty little cafe. Unfortunately, Carl is terrible at both managing the place and brewing good coffee (two skills that seem like they're kind of necessary). To make matters worse, Carl mistakenly advertised his "Grand Opening" to be on the wrong day, leading to a day full of unpredictable mishaps. The good thing is that customers do show up, though Carl seems to attract the weirdest crowd, from a hyperactive fanboy to a journalist looking to ruin someone's day. What will be the fate of this man's cafe? Will go out of business before it can even open? My name is Milton Joseph. I am a Canadian playwright who has always been interested in the performing arts. I am a percussionist, drummer, and actor. Through acting, I discovered that I enjoy playwriting as well. I hope you enjoy my works and thank you for supporting me. Please enjoy my first, full length play, whether through the simple act of reading or by putting on a show to present to a lot of people.
