Great Read

This book is interesting, well researched, and exciting. At each turn of events in her life Rebecca, the main character, out thinks the forces around her and is able to persevere beginning with sea sickness, through each loss she suffers and, yes, through each victory she experiences. The author successfully weaves Nasundee, Rebecca's friend, throughout the story while maintaining the primary focus on Rebecca. I had a hard time putting the book down. Rebecca's life was very interesting.
