The 2021 volume of Cadence is the 39th in a series of annual poetry anthologies published by the Florida State Poets Association (FSPA). This year's Cadence includes more than 90 select poems from FSPA members, the winners in 26 categories of the national FSPA poetry contest, and the poems of our Chancellors: Florida Poet Laureate Peter Meinke, Silvia Curbelo, Denise Duhamel, Carol Frost, Lola Haskins, David Kirby, and Virgil Su?rez. Other well known poets included in this volume are John Foster (author of A Gesture of Words: Poetry Forms and Formulas) and Al Rocheleau (author of On Writing Poetry). Additional prize winning poets among the more than 100 included are Peter M. Gordon, Janet Watson, and Judith Krum.
