The world has become a botanical mess. A parasite created by nature aims to remove the human species by infecting and turning them into grotesque plant-mammal hybrids. These botanical monsters rip apart the world to spread the parasite far and wide until nothing is left except nature. Janice and Beatrice find themselves in the center of an overrun city, believing themselves to be the only survivors of the initial outbreak. Janice adapts quickly, however Beatrice can't seem to accept this new reality. These conflicting views strain their relationship until new players enter the scene.
