The true story of a young English lad who volunteered for an Airborne Glider Regiment and was one of the first men to land in Normandy in the early hours of D-Day, June 6th 1944. He fought through until early September and was returned to the UK before being sent to the Ardennes at Christmas. His final mission to Germany on the Rhine Crossing ended in tragedy for him and his colleagues.
