Vikings were not a nation, but a "job description ", some historians say. In the early medieval ages, many forming countries by writers can be named Vikings: Scandinavian, Norman, Saxon, North German, and Curonian tribe, who lived on Ostsee/ Baltic Sea east coast by the River Dange, and many other places.
It is a story about a war raid, that suddenly turns into a love story between a distant Curonian pagan lord on one side of the sea and the daughter of Swede Konung on the other side.
Picturesque descriptions of places and ship voyages await readers in this novel. The reader will meet the Scandinavian and pagan tribes at the shores of the Baltic Sea, and take part in their daily lives, and battles at Gotland Island and on the east coast of the Baltic Sea.
It will be interesting to understand the habits, traditions, and customs of medieval tribes, see rites and virtually taste delicious foods at medieval fiestas, dance and sing at weddings, and pray and mourn at funerals. Also, the reader will get to know sea battles, diversion operations, and spectacular land battles. of those places in the medieval.
Why not fight against Christians and Teutonic and Danish knights who enter the lands of heathens? Or find a better way to coexist with locals and newcomers?
And yes The reader will find the author's short poetry inclusions in this novel.
