Growing up in England, pre -WWII, and during the War, he saw changes from horse and cart deliveries, to the modern day quick deliveries. Some of the horrors of war time England, The RAF and Luftwaffe fighter planes in aerial combat. The V1rockets, "Flying bombs" that came dangerously close to their house. An account some of the things that young boys got up during those years, some of them fun, and others dangerous.Reflection in later life, a trip to the concentration camp in Germany where the V rockets were made. Finding out when during his army career in occupied Germany, that the average German was surprisingly like himself.
