For the Fans of A Confederacy of Dunces

Very well written and apparently very well researched. the author did not just take the easy target and blame the mother. Toole is so much more. Anyone who has read, A Confederacy of Dunces will find this book satisfying like opening a window. For those of you that are a little older and Southern, or lived in the American South it will definitely refresh your memory about those times.

I must confess that my new literary champion is Ignatius J. Reilly, of A Confederacy of Dunces. I had not read the book until recently, but my path with Ignatius crossed two decades ago while in law school. As wonderful as the novel is itself, the story of its tortured path to publication is equally fascinating.
