This picture book is the second one about the adventures of Buttercup. In this story, she takes a trip to Yellowstone Park. Although she discovers that this park with all its wild animals is not too safe for a little dog, she manages to have a wonderful time traveling about in the family camper. For safety's sake, she is not allowed to see many of the park's main attractions, but this fails to diminish her love for the great outdoors or her curiosity about its animal life.
