Since leaving college, Marcie Evans has worked in the high-pressure world of New York City publishing. Lately she has been feeling the urge to make a change. The constant push to find and fight for the right story has been wearing on her thirty-something body and making her feel twice her age. Marcie needs to venture out and write her own story, so she decides to pack her bags and head south. Upon arriving in the small town of Blackwell's Corner, South Carolina, she realizes that this may be the town that has the story to reignite her creative spirit.
