Too many who feel drawn to step into the Christian life have this image of a harsh and judgmental God, reading their every imperfection and seeing them with disapproval. Those feelings of insecurity are often a chasm, preventing honest seekers from taking that final step to salvation.Sometimes, those who have already taken the step still fear their God. They doubt their own ability to "get it right." In their doubt, they begin to drift. They would rather run from God than stay and be judged for the flesh-nature that they've struggled to conquer.That is not our God. Yes, He is holy, and as a holy God, He expects us to be holy, as well. He is not willing to lose any who come to Him, however, and growing in your faith, developing a boldness and security in your position as a child of the Most High God can be a process. It is a process worth enduring, and as we persevere, our faith and our connection to our Father grows.So to the honest seeker - come. His yoke is light.To the struggling Believer - stay. God is not angry with you.
