This brief book is an attempt to share the lives of two people in their learning to trust God through times of difficulty. We call to mind the words of our Lord in Ephesians 2:4-6 stating "But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ--by grace you have been saved--and raised us up with Him and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus." This was so powerfully proclaimed by Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones, Nita's pastor at Westminster Chapel in London during the mid 1950s.
