What inspired you to write Busy Miss Hoover? A...
The inspiration came initially from my everyday chores.
I noticed just how busy I was, every day doing the same repeated chores We had a small house and a very large dog. Every day, I would go to the cupboard and get the vacuum cleaner out and mop the floor, and as we lived in the countryside, there was plenty of mud. The other characters came from the various, very funny and amusing menagerie of pets and farm animals my family have known over the years Q....

I like to think there is a message in the story for all of us; in this busy world. Taking time out for yourself, taking quiet, silent moments to remind yourself of just how wonderful you are as a human being, refreshes your energy.
Ruminating over your feelings, wishes and daydreams, is something we need to encourage.
