A review of the literature shows that many researchers have worked on the themes of Business Models and Social Enterprises. However, very few authors have addressed the concept of the Social Business Model. The aim of this research is, on the one hand, to explore this concept in greater depth and, on the other, to apply it to a Colombian retirement home. This will enable us to identify a line of research on social business models specific to Colombia.
