She struggles through an abusive relationship, but she has a kind indomitable soul that won't let her give up. This novella is based lightly on real events that happened to the author. The setting is changed to a different planet and the names are different. The light fantasy element is symbolic to the inner struggle and journey that the author faced. However, the struggles are real.
