Author spent much of this speaking about already obsolete and outdated tech. There is very little here that is fresh, new or redeeming. One of the steps he describes as far as waiting after buying a burner to activate it, sure- a month for security footage to be recycled is all just extremely basic that anyone who is at all privacy-oriented should already know.
