Bunny Days

I purchased this for our 5yr and 3yr old grandchildren. They loved the stories and the surprises each story had! We read and reread it many times during my visit.

Bunnies, bears and goats, oh my!

Friend Bear is always coming to the bunnies' rescue, when they find themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time, and Mr. and Mrs. Goat aren't paying attention. From washing muddy bunnies in the washing machine (picture bunnies drying on the laundry line!) to Bear sewing bunny tails back on after Mr. Goat accidentally cuts them off in the garden, children will enjoy the hilarity of these stories. Each tale has a happy ending, and the book jacket folds open into a colorful poster perfect for any playroom or nursery. The illustrations are classic, colorful, and quite adorable. Children and parents will enjoy sharing reading time, thanks to the antics of these animal friends. The cutest! My 4 year old loved it! I did too.

This is the cutest book ever! I loved the stories and the simple pictures. My (barely) 4 year old daughter found it to be quite entertaining. She seemed to understand its silliness. She wasn't phased about the bunnies in the washing machine. She definately knows that she shouldn't put our cats in the washing machine, so this didn't seem to bother me. (And I am an animal lover and an animal activist.) We are pretty clear with our daughter that she needs to be nice to all creatures, etc. She seems to understand the difference between reality and pretend quite well. This book wasn't a problem. I guess even a 4 year old seems to know the difference. She kind of chuckled about it. I wasn't certain if she'd like the subdued colors, but she didn't seem to mind. I actually LOVED the book and plan on putting it into my "favorite shelf". Love the subtle sense of humor and the darling pictures! This is the cutest book ever! If anything, buy it to entertain yourself!

Great Story surpassed only by the art!

I Love this book! I have a young one (5). who is exactly the book's target audience. (and he absolutely loved it as well) The thing is, as an adult, I am the one doing the reading, so I appreciate books that I find entertaining as well as those with excellent illustrations. This book delivers on BOTH COUNTS! Is really 3 different stories that end like they should, but the journey is VERY funny and the art is really top notch! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Wonderful art and a charming story

The art is the star of this show. These bunnies are so adorable I defy anyone to look at them without smiling. I also found this to be a very funny story. From muddy bunnies in the washing machine to the picture of the bear carefully sewing their tails back on after they are accidently snipped off in the garden, this book strikes the perfect note for lap time reading. I think this is better for one on one sharing where you would have more time to enjoy the pictures, although I can see it working for small groups as well. My favorite picture is of all the little bunnies napping on the clothesline while they dry. Too cute to miss.
