Bun-Bun's Brook Trout: a Story about Fly Fishing

Bun-Bun is this odd looking bunny-like character in green hip-waders pictured on the cover of the book, the main character who goes to the stream to enjoy the sport of fly fishing. Bun-Bun spies a large trout that speaks the word "thurp" in trout language. What is the trout eating? In order to catch the fish, Bun-Bun must figure this out--to use just the right fly! Bun-Bun is successful on hooking the trout, enjoys the sport of reeling it in, appreciates the beauty of the fish, and then releases trout back into the stream. All in all, an enjoyable day for Bun-Bun, the fly-fishing ... bunny? The illustrations are wonderful, great text. A wonderful book for the fly fishing afficionado at any age, and a great way to explain the sport of fishing as well as catch and release.
