Bullying has become an international epidemic. It is everywhere. Schools, workplaces, homes, and countries suffer because of the evil of its force. It tears apart communities and individuals with its merciless actions. Bullying becomes violence. It escalates into war, genocide, rape, and suffering. Its effects are lasting, resulting in depression, anxiety, self-harm, and even suicide. BULLYING IS A CRIME! is a book of poetry which describes the sordid details of the effects that bullying has on people. It is a source of chaos and confusion for children, teenagers, and anyone else who is a witness to its wrath. As a Bosnian ex-refugee, I have been a witness to brutal nationalism. "Just ignore it!" is a petty excuse that always leads to abuse. I hope that this book inspires anyone reading this text to stand up for themselves and others in moments of difficulty.
