Bujinkan is a Japanese martial arts organization that Masaaki Hatsumi established. It is comprised of nine ryōha, which are traditional Japanese martial arts institutions with centuries of history. These educational institutions provide instruction on a wide range of combat methodologies, encompassing unarmed combat (jujutsu), armed combat employing spears, blades, and staffs (kenjutsu, bōjutsu, and sōjutsu), and battlefield combat strategies.
